The Oklahoma Oil Museum is surrounded by 5 1/2 acres of beautiful grounds. Each year the museum hosts several outdoor activities to give back to the community. A favorite activity of the local children is a hunt for the oil contest. The children find oil rigs that are hidden on the grounds. Each oil rig found will bring a prize. Find a gusher and win a wonderful prize. Another fun time is the yearly oil field auction. You can come out and make a bid on equipment, services and gifts that has been donated to the museum. While checking out all the items up for bid you can enjoy a free bar-b-que lunch and cold drink.
